Set Up Your New Trezor Device

Connect Your Trezor

Plug your Trezor device into your computer using the supplied USB cable. The device will turn on and display a welcome screen.

• Important: Only use the cable provided in the box.
• Do not enter your recovery seed on the computer screen.

Download Trezor Suite

Trezor Suite is the official desktop application required to manage your wallet and perform transactions.

Always download from the official trezor.io website.

Install Firmware & Set PIN

Follow the on-screen prompts in Trezor Suite to install the latest firmware and set a unique PIN directly on your Trezor device.

• The PIN is entered using a randomized keypad pattern shown on the Trezor.
• Do not use simple or sequential PINs.

Create & Back Up Recovery Seed

This is the single most important step. Write down the 12/24 word recovery seed, shown *only* on your Trezor screen, on the provided cards.

NEVER digitize your recovery seed (no photos, screenshots, or typing it on a computer).
